On September 2nd, 2008, Mor Vacations made their first commission pay out. This was announced in advance and was no surprise. What was unique about this is that Mor Vacations, as promised, debuted its electronic payment distribution method.

This was the first test run and currently electronic transfers are being processed twice a week, but shortly these pay outs will occur daily! Speaking from my former experience with Global Resorts and their 10 day to 2 week delays in payments, I can personally attest to what a great system this is.

I was one of the first affiliates to be paid via this new system on the very first batch and I can tell you that it worked absolutely flawlessly. Here’s how the whole system works from start to finish.

  1. A sale is made and is registered “electronically” at http://www.morvacations.com
  2. The new sale is immediately and automatically entered into your affiliate backoffice.
  3. The initial status of the sale will be listed as “New” until payment is received.
  4. Once payment is received the status will be changed to “Paid” and the commission will show up in your “Pending” commissions.
  5. Now you perform a “sweep” of your commissions and they are transferred via electronic payment to your bank account.
  6. The next day the funds are in your account.
  7. It’s that simple!

The setup process also could not be much easier. You simply setup your payment email address and a confirmation and setup email is sent to the registered address. You are then walked through a very straight forward account setup wizard. Without any instructions or assistance I setup everything in about five minutes.

Wow! This is such a nice system and benefit to have. When you work hard for those checks, it’s a real pain to have to wait two weeks or more to be compensated.

I’ve received all of my commissions electronically through this new system and I can personally attest to just how simple and painless it is. Not only that, but the maintenance and transfer fees are very small (a couple of dollars or thereabouts) - less than I paid even to receive standard “snail mail” processing and wait for two weeks with Global Resorts.
